Ride plans:

  • Team K will arrive on Friday on a bus from Vancouver and leave on Tuesday on a bus to Vancouver

Schedule[edit]

  • 3/6: no check-in until 4PM
    • Check in instructions: will get door code by noon fri, parking pass should be in house
    • 4 bdr (king ensuite, queen ensuite, queen w twin bunk + twin bed, double w twin bunk) + den
      • 👶 needs a quiet room at night with space for her crib, where "night" starts at 7:30pm lol
    • seems like a 2 car garage + parking spot by dumpsters for parking
  • 3/7-10: shred 🏂⛷️ + spa ♨️ + crosscountry?
  • 3/8 and 3/9, babysitter Katie will be there 9-5
  • 3/10: HNPK depart
  • 3/11: Checkout at 11AM, everyone else departs.

Tentative plans

  • Fri Fend for yourself
  • Sat (H+N) we are going to get Barn Nork Thai takeout for everyone--came with a lot of rice
  • Sun (B+L) mapo tofu + greens over rice!
  • Mon California Burrito: tomatoes, guac, onions, french fries, seitan.
  • Tue (M+M) Japanese curry (use up all the remaining stuff)--we made poutine/burrito/broccoli bowls with the leftover fries, tortillas, and remaining broccoli. We made 2 cups of rice but we only needed 1 cup.

  • spinach chickpea stew: spinach, chick pea, can tomato, onion, ginger, garlic, vinegar.

  • also no ultra processed foods (or keep those as optional)

TO REMEMBER[edit]

  • We had about the right amount of food for 5 nights (3 nights with 10 adults and a baby).
  • Bring a good bread knife also
  • Canadian Costco only accepts cash (USD too) and Mastercard!
  • Bring more non-caffeinated tea and ground coffee
  • Less white rice needed
  • Less sandwich bread needed as we bought a lot of bread from BReD (4 loaves in 3.5 days).
  • BReD is closed on Mondays an Tuesdays.
  • We had a bag of lemons without any plans for them but we were able to consume it all as lemon water/beer
