things to keep in mind:
- will likely do a trip to east malaysia to/from singapore so goal is to be in singapore for at least 8 days or so to allow for a trip. 10 days might be ideal.
- we can likely stay with VT in singapore (space might be small but should work)
- lucy and bryan will be traveling from more-or-less after the wedding and will return to seattle on 8/14 so it seems good to overlap for at least a day or so
taipei[edit]
consider staying in taipei for ~3-5 days
things to keep in mind:
- shunling will be in taipei all august but will leave on 9/4
- colin will likely be in korea until 8/14 and has 0.25 prob of being at burning man end of month
- very very hot and muggy

- taipei 13-16 / stay in taipei for 3 nights ~(13,14,15)
- arrive in singapore on 16-17
- 16-26: signapore and east malaysia
- return to tokyo
- option #2
- maybe meet vaughn in tokyo during the 13-16
- stay in taipei on the way back from tokyo
nara 9/6-9/8[edit]
- reservations at jw marriot on 9/6 → 9/8 for mika's birthday (already in tripit) / booked with amex discount
- akira matsui (at shindai) will be returning from travelin on 9/4 but is available to meet on 9/5 or 9/6
