Timing

Vague plan is to start cooking around noon, and be done around 7 or 8pm, with drinking and essential snacking interspersed throughout the day.

Dishes and other stuff you'll be bringing

• User:Djbclark is bringing (all vegan) cashew nut whipped "cream", whole wheat cinnemon-raison bread (just one medium-sized loaf), nog smoothie (made on-site with zombification nogification mix liquid). He will be later than 7pm (pika dinner @ 6:30pm).
• Tofurky Feast, two Quorn Turk'y Roasts, one Tofurky Roast (Cjb+Mad)
• 2 yams (Cjb+Mad)
• 1 vegan pumpkin pie (Cjb+Mad)
• 1 non-vegan pumpkin pie (Warren)
• Cranberry sauce (Cjb+Mad) -- we have frozen cranberries, only other ingredient is sugar
• Thai coconut squash soup (Cjb+Mad) -- 4 delicata squash are cubed, we have the main ingredients (coconut milk, ginger, chili, garlic, 2 limes) ... butternut squash will be added to this.
• Sweet potatoes with sauteed onions and kale (Cjb+Mad) -- we have all these ingredients (oil or margarine, onions, sweet potatoes, kale)
• Apple & fakin bacon stuffed squash (Cjb+Mad) -- we have five more delicata squash we can use for this, and fakin bacon, but need apple (8? 10? leftovers can be snacks)
• Carrot something (Mako+Mika) -- maybe mashed carrots
• Sweet potatoes and apples (Mako) -- still need sweet potatoes and apples
• Stuffing (Mika)
• Mashed potatoes (Mika|Mako)
• Fruit SmootiesSmoothies (Mako can make if folks still feel up for it after everything else)
• Blood of gentiles (Everyone but Avi will contribute)
• GroovyGravy (Andres will create)
• Bread (baggets for garlic bread, etc)

Things to buy/bring

REMEMBER REMEMBER: Nothing is open on Thanksgiving. Like nothing. That means everything needs to purchased before businesses close on Wednesday. and Some of them close early. (Of note, Farmer's Bounty was open last year until 3PM or so on Thurs, pretending not to know the law.)

Remove this stuff if people pick it up or commit to bringing it:

• Sour cream (Warren got it)
• Margarine (Warren got it)
• 15+ apples (Warren buying this, for apple/bacon stuffed squash, sweet potato and apple, etc)
• 3 yams yams yams (mad & cjb will bring 2, dilinger says he has some)
• 3 packages fakin bacon (or less) (for apple/bacon stuffed squash, see above) (cjb got it)
• Pies (we will probably dumpster a bunch)
• 4 Limes
