Acetarium/Thanksgiving 2011
No stores are open on Thanksgiving!
Let us repeat: NO STORES ARE OPEN ON THANSKGIVING!
Some of them close early on Wednesday! I'm tempted put a blink tag this. Plan ahead! -- Madeleine
Timing
Vague plan is to start cooking around 3PM, and be done around 7 or 8pm, with drinking and essential snacking interspersed throughout the day.
Dishes and other stuff you'll be bringing
You can add items that you want to make and add your names by the items.
Food
- one Tofurky Feast (vegan, Chris & Mad), two hazelnut cranberry Field Roasts (vegan, Chris & Mad)
- Tofurducken (Mika)
- Corn bread (vegan, Chris & Mad)
- Caramelized Onion Butternut Squash Roast with Chestnuts (vegan, Chris & Mad)
- Vegan fried rice (nuts and raisins and veggies) (Damien)
- Veggie balls (Mika)
- Sweet Potatoes with Apples (Mika)
- Rockin' Roasted Potatoes (Mika)

- one vegan pumpkin pie (Chris & Mad)

- Cranberry Spiced Cider & Cinnamon Pear Cider (from TJ's, Chris & Mad)
- 12-pack Whale's Tale Pale Ale cans (Chris & Mad)
- Wild Turkey (Acetarium. Because it's not Thanksgiving without Turkey.)
Things to buy/bring
REMEMBER REMEMBER: Nothing is open on Thanksgiving. Like nothing. That means everything needs to purchased before businesses close on Wednesday. and Some of them close early. (Of note, Farmer's Bounty was open last year until 3PM or so on Thurs, pretending not to know the law.)
Remove this stuff if people pick it up or commit to bringing it:

- Chris & Mad sort of got this. It was sold out, but interesting similar products were acquired.
