This meal::dinner dish is diet::vegan and diet::glutenfree.

Ingredient

  • 1/2 cup Moong beans or lentils
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 5 red chilli
  • some white/black pepper
  • some salt

Preparation

  1. Boil moong beans.
  2. Sauté chopped onions.
  3. Mash beans, add onions and ground spices
  4. Add 1 cup water and boil.
  5. Serve with jasmin rice and pickles.
