Ingredients[edit]
- 1/2 cup Moong beans or lentils
- 1 small Onion chopped
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 5 red chilli
- some white/black pepper
- some salt
Preparation[edit]
- Boil moong beans.
- Sauté chopped onions.
- Mash beans, add onions and ground spices
- Add 1 cup water and boil.
- Serve with jasmin rice and pickles.
