A summer trip to see Andres and Kristina on Orcas Island!

* 🍳 Lascaux Cafe has excellent brunch/lunch, and great pastries. 30-min walk https://www.lascauxorcas.com/
* 🦪Buck Bay outdoor lunch, chill vibe, fun with kids and pets. Best oysters in WA, ceviche, and crab. It might not be great for vegetarians. 30-min walk.
* 🌊 Doe Bay: expensive, excellent PNW food, cozy location. Reservation is required, but a pain to get through them during tourist season.
* ⚓️ Inn and Ship Bay: fancier dinners, nice views. Probably reservation required.
* 🍕 Houlme pizza: excellent pizza, good vegetarians. Outdoor/indoor seating plus order via SMS at 206 999 1844
* 🎩 Matia: expensive, excellent/unique PNW food, NYT top 50. Reservation required.

* Land:
** 🥾 Hikes
*** Obstruction Pass Park (beautiful beach during high tide). Entrance to park is 30-min walk from our place.
*** Coho preserve, nice short hike next to creek/cascades. The entrance to park is a 40-min walk from our place, right next to Lascaux Cafe and Buck Bay. Fun to go there before or after eating.
*** Mountain Lake to top of Mt Constitution. Beautiful lake views and then amazing views of Mt Baker, Lummi Island, and other islands at the top of the mountain. Best on a non-cloudy day.
*** Walk around Mountain Lake. Fun to see the islands inside the lake. Also would be cool to kayak here. I think they rent kayaks too.
*** Walk around Cascade Lake. Most popular hike, perhaps. 
*** Turtle Back Mt, has awesome views of multiple islands on the west side. 30-min drive to trailhead.

** 🏠 Sea kayaking from our beach: we have one 2-person kayak and one 1-person kayak, but they are lake kayaks, so not super stable if it's wavey, safest to stay near shore.
