I have read the Winter Course Development Programme for 2011-12, and note thechanges. I am, hoveewr, concerned about the removal of the shrubs at the back of the 15th green, sinceI simply cannot understand why. This area, which contains attractive dogwoods, ishome to the many creatures who form part of the course ecology, and its removalto make way for yet another mound will not, in my view, enhance that particulararea. If there has to be removal of shrubs, perhaps those gorse bushes surrounding the 10thgreen could go. They are extremely unsightly, and the area could be enhancedby the planting of some considerably more attractive shrubsAngela Prior
