Dolores Park picnic (2025-05-31)
I (Mako) will be visiting San Francisco for one day only (!!!) on Saturday May 31, 2025 as a tack-on to a short work trip to Palo Alto. Since I don't have time to meet everybody I might like one-on-one, I've decided that I'm going to post up in the park for a picnic! Seth Schoen has suggested a location within the park. I'm sorry I can't stay longer. I'm teaching this quarter so it's pretty compressed!
Sadly, Mika can't make it this time. :(

- Dolores Park, "slightly south of the Miguel Hidalgo Statue" (Seth Schoen says this should be enough to help us meet and that it should be pretty accessible on transit).
- When
- 2pm-6:30pm. You can come for as long or as a little as you like! (update: I'm at 37.7592033, -122.4275714)

- What should I bring?
- Just yourself is fine! Food and drinks to share sounds very nice. If you've got a tarp or picnic blanket, that would be great.
If you can only meet up earlier, reach out to Signal to let me know. I will probably go for a short bike ride within the city in the morning if I can find or borrow a large bike (I'm 6'3). I have dinner reservations at 8:30pm and a very early flight back to Seattle on Sunday so evening plans probably won't work.

- Mako; 2-6:30pm (I'm committed to being the whole time); I'll bring some beer and some bubbly water and maybe some (vegan) baked goods
- Caro; 2-?; will bring some edibles and NA beer. Available for a bike ride if you get a big bike.
- Kat + Greg: 2:30-???; will bring some homemade jam + crackers, some vegan cookies, probably some fruit seltzer.
- Dario + Emma: 2:30-???; will bring a salad, focaccia and drinks.
