Hot sauce.
Ingredients[edit]
- 1 pint jalapeño peppers
- 1 gallon apple cider vinegar
- 1 quart tabasco peppers
- 1 tablespoon salt
Preparation[edit]
- Wash jalapeños
- Add to vinegar, allow to steep for two months
- Remove jalapeños from vinegar
- Chop tabasco peppers, add to pot
- add vinegar and salt to pot
- bring to boil, then reduce to simmer, stirring from time to time, for ten minutes
- blend mixture, refrigerate for one month or so.
- Strain pulp and seeds from sauce
